And so... confinement has ended so has the 4 months of maternity leave. If one asks me how did I go through childbirth to 1 month of being stuck at home to another 3 months of still pretty much stuck at home, I would not have an answer. One thing for sure, IT'S OVER! As lousy as it started off with blank stares everyday plus the forever sleep deprived feeling plus the mz over anything and everything, now that XD is growing healthily and 2-way communication has FINALLY begun, I am going back to the workforce. True enough that it is not easy to survive on a single income, XD has to be in grandma's care. All ideals of being the perfect working mum is just an ideal. I dare not imagine how the little one will grow up to be but for one, the mum will wish, hope and pray for everything good to be on him, especially after encountering other babies who have went through a lot more than the little buff guy. In any case, we still have long way to go...
Say yeah to night feeds and dirty diapers...!
